Ossett is a thriving market town convienently located just off Junction 40 of the M1 motorway and is only 4 miles from Wakefield City Centre. The town has various places of interest including the Town Hall which opened in 1908. The bus station was rebuilt in 2005 and offers regular services to Wakefield, Leeds and Dewsbury. There is an open air market in the main precinct every Tuesday and Friday with banks, shops and post office all close by.
